Rescued baby bird questions?

I have rescued many baby birds and none have survived. Can someone give me some common detailed mistakes most people make because I am trying to nurse a baby dove that's family was killed by a cat after a robin pushed the babys out of the nest. He is doing good so far and I have been giving him kitten milk every time he acts hungry. He talks a lot and looks healthy. So I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I just turned 13... and im going through puberty. Behind both of my nipples are lumps... what could they be? They are about the same size although the left one is a bit larger. They don't hurt. I was wondering if I could increase my milk supply by hand expressing and pumping. I get less than half an ounce. I stopped breastfeeding for a month (had planned to stop, but have changed my mind), and it is very low and my 6 month old daughter will not nurse at all. She just yells and screams. Help with first foster dog?

I'm currently fostering a 6-9month-old shepherd mix for a little over two weeks now. Her biggest issue is that she cries every night when I put her in the crate. Everyone ignores her while she's crying, but during the day I've been training her to have a positive association with the crate with treats. Hasn't worked. I gave her a frozen-peanut butter-stuffed kong to keep busy. Didn't work. I gave her a raw meaty bone, still cried. I put toys in there also, but that's another issue. I bought an assortment of different toys (Nylabone, treat ball, sqeauky toys, etc) and she doesn't wanna play with any of them. I don't think she "gets" them. I demonstrated in front of her with my dog what she's suppose to do with them, but she still hasn't wanted to play. She also chews things up & I've been trying to re-direct her chewing to the toys, but she just stares at the toy like "what's that for?" Anyone have any pearls of wisdom? Training advice? Anything to offer in help

Has anyone thought of this? We are basically paying thousands of dollars in college to go through 4 years of hell on earth to just get a degree which does not guarantee us a job. Before every single test, students would trap themselves inside their dorm room and study the subjects by themselves to pass the test by themselves. Professors are there just to make tests... I'm an 3rd year engineering student and would like to know if there is a test that I can take to prove that I am qualified to be an engineer in the US. Do you actually need an engineering degree to be an engineer in the US? Would passing the Fundamental Engineering and Professional Engineering examinations be good enough to demonstrate that I have sufficient knowledge in engineering?

He had now found a reason to behave himself. He is now eight, and we have found his outburst are getting more rare, he still enjoys the presidents, but has other interest too, all revolving around history. So my advice to you is just try to find something she enjoys, and spend some quality time with her. Maybe it will help her like it did my brother.

Why is drinking so popular?

I really do not understand it. From what I know about it makes you sick, has a bitter taste to it, weakens your senses, and can become addictive. My 6 month old has me up in the night every 2 hours HELP?

My baby use to sleep from 7pm until 1am, have a bottle at 1am then sleep until 7am which was not bad at all. Now for the past 2 weeks he's been waking up every 2 hours. I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of. His usual bedtime is 7.30pm so I've tried putting him to bed a bit later, I've bathed him before bed every night with lavender oils, I've tried to feed him up as much in the day as I can. I've tried to keep him active as much as I can during the day, I even bought a baby bouncer jumperoo to see if that would tire him out, he uses that A LOT and is sooo active but still wakes up during the night. I've taken him for walks just before bed. I've put him on hungry milk, I've put him on goodnight milk. He barely even naps in the day and if he does its for like 10-20 minutes at a time, he just has sooo much energy!! It seems like when he does wake up in the night that he's not even hungry, he will just have 1oz of milk then go back to sleep, but will not go back to sleep until he's had that 1oz. He spits him dummy out and refuses to have that instead of milk. The room temperature's right for him and everything, his diet is fine, he has a rusk and milk before bed to ensure he's settled and full. I just don't no what to do anymore. I' am completely destroyed, and there's never a break for me as my partner works a lot and its difficult to get a babysitter. PLEASE HELP? I will appreciate and take any ideas on bored! Thank you :)

I am having issues teaching my three and a half year old daughter patience. If she asks for something and I can't get it for her right away she gets angry, starts crying and freaks out. Diarrhea for 3 days now 31 weeks pregnant?

I've had diarrhea for 3 days now. I have no other symptoms. I'm 31 weeks pregnant and on modified bed rest for preterm labor. I have had contractions on and off but nothing too serious. I do not feel sick to my stomach and I am not running a fever. I am not lactose intolerant and do not change my cats litter box. I am 25% effaced but not dilated. The baby has been moving perfectly fine. I went to my ob office yesterday and I am in perfect health according to the midwife. I have increase mucous like discharge but my water has not broken. The baby is engaged. Am I getting ready to go into labor? Also, I was bottling my leaking colostrum since I think it'd be stupid to let it go to waste and giving to my toddler who is 21 months old (I have been just sitting with a bottle underneath my nipples to catch it I have not expressed it) but now it turned from yellow to clearish white so my actually breast milk is coming in. My daugher is 18 month and has about three more days before she turns 19 months. I wanted her potty trained by 18 months but I haven'tbeen consistent with the potty training. My little one will be a year old on July 15 and is still not eating very well. I try to give her breakfast of baby cereal, weetabix or ready brek (contacted the makers to ask if it was okay for a baby and it is) but she won't always take it, at 10am I try to give her fruit but again, she won't always take any, she has her lunch okay but not very much and dinner time isn't really a problem. She won't eat textured foods, only purees (she has three bottom teeth and four top teeth) but I feel she's not eating enough for her age. My 2 year old was on table foods at the same stage and was still breastfeeding (my 11 month old stopped wanting the breast at 10.5 months). Should I cut down on her milk intake to see if she eats more solids. i've tried her with finger foods too but she just puts them in her mouth then spits it out again, she will eat bread/toast though. Diet help please, 135 pound female?

During winter break I tried an orange diet for a week and dropped from 148 to 135. I'm usually 115 - 120 but I gained tons of weight when I started birth control and I think also because I was eating unhealthy food living in the dorms since I didn't have a car first semester and ate what they sold on campus. I've been trying to lose the weight since jan. I'm 5'5, I'm 20 years old and I currently weigh 135. I do workout everyday for an hour and a half and for breakfast I eat a 1/2 cup of cherrios with 1% milk, for lunch I have light yogurt (110 cal) with 3 cut up strawberries and a banana cut up and for dinner I usually have a sandwich with swiss cheese (90 cal), wheat bread, a little light mayo, onions, and turkey. I was thinking of trying a carrot diet for a week, would it work as well as my orange diet?? And don't say this is unhealthy please I ate only oranges but I also took multivitamins, fiber, and protein for that week. To give you a look on my metabolism: I urinate probably 15 times a day and I do the other thing around 4 to 5 times a day. Advice please? Oh and the ten pounds I lost during winter break I know it wasn't just muscle cause I lost inches and looked skinnier in general.

With my first daughter i have never gotten any rude looks or rude comments, i breastfed her until she was 16months when she then self weaned. Help with first foster dog?

I'm currently fostering a 6-9month-old shepherd mix for a little over two weeks now. Her biggest issue is that she cries every night when I put her in the crate. Everyone ignores her while she's crying, but during the day I've been training her to have a positive association with the crate with treats. Hasn't worked. I gave her a frozen-peanut butter-stuffed kong to keep busy. Didn't work. I gave her a raw meaty bone, still cried. I put toys in there also, but that's another issue. What could be causing my Bowel problems?

I had my appendix removed in April. They also removed adhesions that were making my intestines stick to my abdominal wall. 2 weeks after, I start having less bowel movements. I would have a small one maybe once per week. I've had a lot of bloating and pressure and burning type pain in my abdomen. Went to ER a few days ago. They did an enema. It barely worked. The next day I drank a bottle of magnesium citrate. All that came out was water and a few small stools. I did an enema the next day. I had a medium sized movement. Mostly liquid. Yesterday I had a small regular. My stool has been green for a few days. Haven't eaten anything green or food coloring blue. Still very bloated feeling. It hurts in gallbladder/liver area. Gallbladder removed 5 years ago. I'm always tired and sleepy. No energy at all. Also get cold easily. Could adhesions have grown back and constricting my intestines? What should I do? I'm sure the doc will just blow it off. ER said my entire colon was packed with stool. I don't have the urge to go. Appetite is small also. Think I need surgery? So lately ive been unemployed and able to sleep till i wanna wake up. Problem is i still cant get enough sleep. on average id say ive been getting about 4-5 hours of solid sleep and another hour or two of sleep seperated by tossing and turning. About a week ago i started having sex before sleep and it worked fine i mean cant go wrong. But now even that has not helped my sleep, i just end up horny and tired. Hi, I have been approved of a top-up over my home loan from a bank. However, the bank needs an NOC from the society before the loan is disbursed. In my attempts to consolidate my loans, I had initially approached a couple of banks prior to the current bank, including SBI. SBI required the NOC from the society as a pre-requisite document, which I had provided to them. Now the Society has refused to give an NOC saying that they have already issued one to SBI.
