Why dint give my mother squirrel her kids milk?

well, her first kids, 3, i was so happy she Finlay got kids, BUT she dint feet them. was it because we took a look in her little House if she had kids, or did we took the daddy to early away because he will kill them or another reason??? please help! thanx
