What is the maximum amount that can be deposited in SBI savings account ?

What is the maximum amount that can be deposited in SBI (State bank of India ) savings account, using any one of cheque, DD and cash . Is there an upper limit for the deposit in a day ? what if i use a cheque to deposit ?
