I'm going to make white sauce, but i don't have half&half as the reicpe calls for how much milk&whipping cream?

I'm going to make white sauce but i don't half and half only milk and whipping cream....it calls for 1-1/2 cup of half and half...how much milk and whipping cream do i need? can i subsitute it? any pointers in making this sauce?
