Hi,Please tell me how to cancel a demand draft made from SBI.?

they told me to give letter and paste revenue stamp behinf d the dd and they said counter file ...what u mean by counter file...? waht i need to do i got the letter and revenue stamp wat i need to do regarding tat counter file..????
