"God doesn't prove to us that he is real coz that would negate the need for faith" ...?

Actually the proof is provided to the born again Christians after they have shown their faith in him by them accepting his son Jesus free gift of salvation. This proof comes in the form of blessings in life, continual spiritual growth of not only your faith, but in the relationship you have started with God. Faith comes first, God will show himself to you all through out your life as long as you stay faithful and obedient until the day he calls you home.
